why an armless guy? it could be a normal one too.
But the sound was awful.
Ask one of the clock crew how they make these kind of sounds so perfectly.

I did'nt understand the story, but it's nice work.
The graphics: It's drawn very well.
Try to make your sounds more intresting, and
not that same lame tone.

Looks like that almost everything made with the brush tool.
Try to use other tools.
And the explosion could be better.
Take a look in the tutorials.
There is a tutorial for special effects like explosion.
